Biofuels and Ethanol
This chapter reviews the market developments in both biofuels and ethanol markets. In the United States, the ethanol market is dominated by use of corn to produce this alternative fuel. In North America, these alternative fuels and associated markets are in relative infancy. In a market such as Brazil, the ethanol market is fairly mature. We review Brazil as a case study for the ethanol market.
