Ecology of Natural Resources

2.1 Introduction

Land use and valuation are encompassed in most state policies on use of these resources, as well as citizen involvement, housing, recreation, energy conservation, and natural resources. In particular, local governments must have policies in place to protect natural resources and conserve scenic, historic, and open space resources for current and future generations.
