Viscous Incompressible Flow

In the previous chapter, methods for incompressible viscous flow computation based on boundary layer model were discussed. In that model, the Navier-Stokes equations have been approximated using the boundary-layer theory of Prandtl (Prandtl, 1904; Schneider, 1978). Computation of fluid flow problems based on the complete Navier-Stokes equations (N-S Eqs.) is the subject matter of the present chapter and the next one.
