Your business can follow the service-driven business structure in one of two fundamental ways:
Your business may use superior service as a key differentiator in selling its products.
Your business may sell services with or without any associated material product(consider consulting as an example of a service that is often sold without any product).
There will be significant basic similarities between these two sub-types of service-driven businesses, but there will also be some important differences. A business that sells services does not need to worry about product sourcing or production; a business that sells a wellserviced product still needs product creation as well as service management.
