InfoPath is the first general-purpose GUI for XML Web services that’s designed for Windows users rather than developers. The Data Connection Wizard automates the process of designing receive-only, submit-only, and receive-and-submit forms that consume document/literal XML Web services. Creating a single-view, receive-only form from a public XML Web service takes only a few minutes. Receive-and-submit forms take a bit more design effort and don’t support New Record or Delete & Submit buttons without adding code to the template.
