Designing a Simple Form to Receive Data

Receive-only forms you create from XML Web services are the simplest of the Data Connection Wizard’s three supported form types. Most publicly accessible utility Web services, such as Cdyne Systems’ AddressLookup service that’s used in this section’s procedure, don’t permit submitting data. The AddressLookup ASP.NET Web service connects to a database of U.S. Postal Service (USPS) ZIP Code information and has several methods for performing individual operations, such as checking one-line or two addresses.
