Using the Format Painter

The Format Painter toolbar button lets you copy the formatting of a control or text and apply it to other controls or text on the form. InfoPath’s Format Painter feature is similar to that of all Office 2002 or later applications, such as Access. You select the control or text with the format you want to copy, click or double-click the Format Painter button, and then click the text or control to apply the formatting. Double-clicking the Format Painter button locks the button in the enabled state to let you apply formatting to multiple text or control instances.
