Adopting an Organization-Wide Format

The section “Adhering to Design Standards” in Chapter 5, “Laying Out Forms” describes the benefits of establishing a uniform approach for designing master layout tables and their embedded contents. Most example forms in Chapter 5 and successive chapters use a standard, two-row master table in which the form title appears in the first row and all other form components appear in the second row. This base design lets you add a standard background color to the master table for all forms you create.
