Groups

A group is a collection of individual elements like walls, doors, and windows that are added together to form a new, single entity (the group). Most Autodesk Revit Architecture projects have design elements that are repeated or reused; for example, a hotel has guest rooms, medical facilities have exam rooms, and so on. It isn’t practical to model each element over and over for every one of these repeated aspects of a design. Not only is it inefficient to do so, but doing so increases the likelihood for errors and omissions. Groups provide yet another way to manage repetition within your building models.
