Chapter 11. Sections
Many projects require the designer to create sections along an alignment. These sections may show existing ground along a river, a combination of existing ground and proposed ground along an embankment, or detailed design elements of a road or pipes under a highway. Civil 3D provides tools to sample, view, and analyze this necessary information.
