The following section highlights departments and functions that can benefit significantly from utilising an organisation’s Intranet in performing their core business activities. However, it does not suggest that these are the only areas in which this would be worthwhile, in terms of added value, for the organisational Intranet. The more appealing that Intranet content can be made, to a wide cross-section of the organisation, the greater the use and the greater the interest from all related parties, in seeing it succeed and grow.
