Installing FrontPage 2000 Server Extensions

Before you can implement or configure FrontPage Webs on your Internet Information Services server, the Server Extensions must be installed. The following sections discuss the installation options and the changes that must be made to the system before you can install the Extensions.

The FrontPage 2000 Server Extensions are backward-compatible, meaning that clients using FrontPage 98 software will still have all the functionality that they had with the FrontPage 98 Server Extensions.
