Configuring Web Sites

The IIS WWW service allows you to publish content on the Internet or an intranet. You can publish a static Web site or a dynamic application. The primary function of the WWW service is to connect client Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) requests to your Web site or sites. The WWW service is installed at SystemDrive:\Windows\System32 by default when you start IIS.
