Yang describes himself as 'very paranoid' about his competitors - but also sees this as another significant factor in what drives him:

'In the US, I would say that the media companies are very much in the picture at the moment. They have done a number of things to try to be in the internet space. We also have competitors in specific segments, such as eBay and auctions.
