Experimental RFCs are typically the result of ongoing research projects that are experimenting with new technologies or approaches for doing something. These documents are only published for the benefit of public record.
Under no circumstances should a vendor incorporate any Experimental RFCs into a shipping product. Interoperability problems are likely to occur if this warning is ignored.
