- Project Cycle Management (PCM)Project cycle management is a term used to describe the management activities and decision-making procedures used during the life cycle of an ID project. In general terms, the “life cycle” consists of “phases that connect the beginning of a project with its end” to provide better management and control through appropriate links to the ongoing operation of performing organizations (Project Management Institute [PMI], 2004).
