The development of presentation packages such as PowerPoint, Keynote, and Prezi has shaped how people communicate and what we expect from communications. Presentation packages enable us to create and share documents with images, text, and even audio and video. Some people like the presentation format so much that they create and share content that is not ever meant to be presented but instead is meant to be used or consumed at the audience's leisure and at the individual's own pace. Documents created with presentation tools and meant to convey information on their own are called Infodecks, and they allow for multimodal distribution of information.
