CHAPTER 5Structuring the Session

Interactive lecture sessions can vary widely by structure. Some professors might begin by adding just a few active learning methods to a single lecture session. They might, for example, start with a hook, use a note-taking technique to help student focus and retain content, and end with an assessment.
