We have both spent two years helping educate customers about the prototype and preproduction hardware before Intel introduced the first Intel® Xeon Phi™ coprocessor. During those two years, we have learned much as we endeavored to teach and assist customers in programming for the Intel® Many Integrated Core (Intel® MIC) architecture.

While we offer many tips specific to getting the most from an Intel Xeon Phi coprocessor, we hope that you will find, at the heart of this book, the keys to general parallel programming.
