Macs have gained their enviable reputation among Mac lovers not just for their sleek and shiny hardware and the ease of use of their operating system, but also because the combination of hardware and software is usually highly reliable.

Even so, you’ll need to know how to recover when disaster strikes one of the Macs in your stewardship. At the most basic level, you’ll want your network’s Mac users to deal with software hangs and lockups so that you don’t have to bring your wisdom to bear on fleeting problems.
