Chapter 9. How to Overcome Your Fears and Get Rich Beyond Your Wildest Dreams

Many entrepreneurs face situations in which others don't believe they can be successful. Popular opinion is often not supportive. But those who are committed to Instant Wealth and waking up rich know they can't listen to the maddening crowd; they listen to their inner voice instead. They just step up, stand their ground, and pursue their entrepreneurial dreams. They maintain their conviction and dedication, which are essential to The New Entrepreneurial Mind.

Obviously, the bigger you become, the more criticism you will attract. When people say, "You can't do that!" simply reply, "Watch me!"

There will always be dissenters along the way, no matter how much good you are doing for the world. There have been people who actually put down Mother Teresa! Actors and actresses get written about in the tabloids and other media all the time. They know they need to ignore what they read.

As your brand grows, awareness of who you are also increases. So you'll find that many people will love you—but for every person who loves you, there will also be people who don't. No matter how much good you're doing for the world—just like Martin Luther King Jr., who received many death threats a day—the more you do, the more you're going to face criticism. I've faced it, and I decided to just stay away from it. So, if you are committed to extraordinary success, get committed to developing a tough skin. You'll need it.
