You’ve labored over your audio and video, and now it’s time to deliver your latest masterpiece to the world. This chapter features tips for printing back to DV tape, rendering to a variety of formats, including DVD, and preparing for web streaming.

External Preview

Vegas allows preview of the Timeline on an external monitor. Connect a FireWire device such as a camcorder to the computer and also connect its analog out to a standard TV.

Several commercial DVDs, such as Pirates of the Caribbean, have audio and video setup tools that you can use to tweak your playback system. You can also purchase calibration DVDs, but you’ll find the home theatre setup discs to be just as good for a quarter the cost.
