Monitoring your persistence (Advanced)

We've got a saying where I work, "if it isn't monitored, it doesn't exist". It is important that you know as soon as there is a problem with your Redis persistence, so you can fix it before a critical failure occurs and you lose all your data.

I'll provide separate recipes (and example scripts) to monitor both RDB and AOF persistence. Keeping them separate makes the scripts easier to understand and allows you to mix-and-match depending on what you're using.
