About the Author
Stefan Thomas first walked into a business networking meeting in late 2005, and hated it.
He found it terrifying. The thought of walking up to people he didn't know and engaging in small talk and then, worse, having to stand up in front of a room full of people and talk about his business was all way out of his comfort zone.
Over time though, he worked out that this networking might actually work and, after a change in circumstances in 2007, threw himself into networking with brute force. Desperation, rather than any particular strategy meant that Stefan had to work out how to make this work commercially, so he did.
