Finding Files

Because you’ve taken the time to label your templates, enter metadata information, and assign keywords to them, you can easily search for your templates. Bridge offers a powerful find feature that allows you to search within any folder, disc, or connected network volume on your computer.

To search for a document, choose Edit > Find to bring up the Find dialog and enter your search criteria (Figure 15.19). Bridge can search for information such as Rating, Label, Document Type, Keywords, and Description. You can even add search criteria by clicking the plus sign. For example, you might want to search for templates with a three star rating that also have the Brochure keyword assigned to them.
