Creating Multilevel Lists

In Chapter 10, “Formatting Type and Generating Style Sheets,” you learned how to create basic numbered lists. Now you’ll learn how to take your numbered lists to the next level. InDesign let’s you set up a system of paragraph styles that work together to automatically number and maintain a list of up to nine levels. By creating a multilevel list, you can display paragraphs of information in a hierarchical structure (Figure 13.4).
