Creating Cell Styles

Now that you’ve customized your cell design using all of the available options, it’s time to capture the results of your design as a cell style. The process of creating a mock-up and then capturing a style is similar to the process of capturing paragraph and character styles based on sample text formatting (see Chapter 10).

Tip

Cell styles will override table style formatting, so plan to use cell styles for localized formatting. Good candidates for cell styles include header rows, footer rows, summary cells, and any other cells that you want to bring to the attention of your readers.
