Setting Up Object Libraries

Object libraries provide a central repository for frequently used graphics, text, and entire page layouts. They help you keep your design elements organized and easy to locate when you need them. You can add many types of objects to a library, including logos, background art, grouped objects, ruler guides, and more.

You can also create as many object libraries as you need for a project. One library might contain a collection of placeholder design elements, such as custom drawn shapes, predesigned tables, and anything else that serves as a starting point for a design. Another library could contain layout alternatives that aren’t used often enough to set up master pages for.
