The Transform and Control Panels
The Transform and Control panels share the same functions for moving and transforming frames (Figure 6.7). But the Control panel is context-sensitive and displays additional commands depending on the active tool or selection. For instance, when the Type tool is active, it displays character and paragraph related functions. When the Selection tool or Direct Selection tool is active, it displays transform related functions.
