Getting Started in DVD Workshop 2.0
In order to install Ulead’s DVD Workshop 2.0 on your computer the operating system must be Windows XP or Windows 2000 with DirectX 9 or later. You can download DirectX from Microsoft’s web site. You must also have 500MB of disk space available for program installation and a 16-bit color graphics card with a resolution of at least 1024X768.
For optimum application responsiveness, smooth previews, faster encoding, and faster disc creation times you should have a Pentium 4 2GHz processor, at least 512MB of RAM, and ample disk space for capturing and storing video and audio files, at least 40GB because one hour of digital video (DV) requires 13GB of hard disk space.
