Authoring Environments
InstallAnywhere offers two authoring environments. One environment is the Project Wizard, which guides developers through creating a new installer quickly. The other environment is the advanced designer, which provides much finer control over installer functionality. The advanced designer allows you to define multiple install sets, add customized splash screen graphics, execute commands from within the installation process, or use many other advanced features. It is possible to build an installer in the Project Wizard and then switch to the advanced designer to add functionality.
