Getting up every day just to make money will eventually feel pointless and demoralising. People want to add value, to feel that they have contributed to both the business and life around them in a positive way. What is the difference between leading and managing?

First of all, don’t think about leading and managing as roles, think about them both as:

  • tasks you take on at different times in your day
  • perspectives you hold in different situations.
