Many managers use coaching techniques to support their daily work. The main difference is that inspirational managers don’t wait for a specific occasion, they use a coaching approach whenever they can. Their natural reaction is to ask open questions with the intention of helping the other person find their own solutions, which is why they are so good at developing talent. Instead of spoon-feeding and instructing, they support people in coming to their own conclusions, which helps them think things through more clearly in the future.
