Using These Virtues

If we keep these virtues in mind as we go through our day and continually reference them in our practices, the process of securing ourselves will be vastly simplified and infinitely less expensive. Throughout the rest of this book, I will continually refer back to these virtues as the core of our practice. In the next chapter, we will begin diving into more detail as we discuss the actual rules of security, which are also based on the virtues.
