Chapter 19. Web Deployment Tool Practical Applications

In Chapter 17, we introduced msdeploy.exe and how you could use it to deploy your Web (where Web can be either a Web application or website, we will use this throughout this chapter) to a local or remote server. In Chapter 18, we introduced the Web Publishing Pipeline and discussed how you could create packages which could be used to deploy your Web to IIS servers, either with msdeploy.exe or through the IIS Manager interface.
