Enterprise Search is a big subject to cover, and we’ve done our best to explain the various topics that are important for both administrators and developers. When we started in the summer of 2007 laying out the table of contents for this book, we knew that there was a lot to write about this collection of technologies. As we progressed and researched some of the topics, we started to get a good feeling about the contents of the book and recognized that all of it would be very useful to many people.
