The dtksh Shell

Available in the CDE is the Desktop Korn Shell (dtksh), which gives kshell scripting the capability to easily access most of the existing Xt and Motif functions. The Desktop KornShell is based on ksh-93, which provides a powerful set of tools and commands for the shell programmer and supports the standard set of kshell programming commands. Developers and programmers use dtksh to create Motif applications for the CDE environment.
