From Photoshop to CorelDRAW

CorelDRAW is an OLE client and server, so you can indeed paste from Photoshop to CorelDRAW. The following sections explain how.

Edit, Paste Special

You can use the Edit, Paste Special command to copy a small Photoshop image to CorelDRAW. To do so, copy a small image from Photoshop to the Clipboard, open CorelDRAW, and choose Edit, Paste Special. The dialog box that opens gives you a choice of Object types, and as with Quark and PageMaker, it's usually best to choose Adobe Photoshop Image. You can also choose Paste Special, Bitmap, but then you can't edit the image in Photoshop later because you're simply pasting the Clipboard contents with no linking or embedding (see Figure 25.5).
