You've taken a Photoshop-sized tour of typefaces and of basic design using type, and put some of that knowledge to practical use.

Just as you use imaging to communicate ideas to your viewers, text is certainly another obvious way to communicate. You would do well to perfect your skills in effectively using type. And that means practice, observe, study, and read books on the topic. Besides, when you create a wonderful image that also needs text, you surely want to strengthen your image by using that text in a professional way.
