Checking Out the Colors in the Poster

First, let's not get our hopes too high of ever restoring the original colors in the poster. As you can see in Figure 19.1, the acquisition was made with a Kodak color reference strip next to it. Here's a brief history of the whats and whys of this scan of the poster:
