In the SQL Server 2005 edition of this book, I described Service Broker as the most powerful and least understood new feature in Microsoft SQL Server 2005. In SQL Server 2008, one might argue that Service Broker still isn’t well understood, but in the three intervening years, a wide variety of Service Broker applications have been built.
