Creating a Recurring Series

Exchange Web Services gives you a number of types for creating a new recurring series. To create a recurring series, you need to define two pieces of information, the recurrence pattern and the recurrence range. A recurrence pattern defines the frequency of occurrences within the series. A recurrence range defines the starting date and (optional) ending date of the series.

Before we get into details, let’s start with a basic example of a recurring series—a birthday! A birthday follows a recurring pattern—it repeats on the same day of the same month every year.
