Chapter 9. Recurring Appointments and Time Zones

Almost everyone has repeating events in their lives that they look forward to: anniversaries, birthdays, or maybe an annual skiing trip to Mt. Whistler in Canada. Unfortunately, almost everyone knows that these fun events too often clash with other, more mundane regular commitments: the daily status meeting with a manager or the weekly crawl through the pile of timecards to complete before 4 P.M. each Friday.
