Summary

In this chapter, we discussed the nature of calendar items and discussed the various types: single, recurring master, occurrence, and exception. We then took a brief look at all of the properties of calendar items and stopped along the way to discuss several of the more frequently used properties. We discussed how you can get information about conflicting and adjacent calendar items. We spent a great deal of time discussing the importance of using date/time strings and UTC offsets.
