About the Author
Michael J. Tobler is a software consultant based in Houston, Texas. He has more than 17 years experience working on software development projects. Michael specializes in the planning, designing, and development of Web-based multi-tier systems using C++, Java, and CORBA. A dedicated methodologist, Michael is a practitioner of the Rational Unified Process (RUP) and the Extreme Programming (XP) discipline.
Michael is president of the Houston Java Users Group and a contributing author of The Waite Group's C++ How-To and Sams' C++ Unleashed. He is the technical editor of The Waite Group's C Primer Plus and Sams' Teach Yourself UML in 24 Hours.
