The following are the top-ten tips for setting up your network for the highest level of performance and stability to support applications on Terminal Server

  1. Use a dial backup solution for critical WAN links. A dial-up ISDN line works very well as a backup WAN link. Most major router manufacturers have equipment options that support ISDN as a backup WAN link. A major problem at your carrier can easily result in several hours of downtime for the sites on your WAN.
