Monitoring the Network and Servers

Setting up a monitoring system for both the network and the Terminal Servers is an important part of any Terminal Server solution. Network monitoring will help you ensure that you are notified of any network outages and thus can respond to outages quickly. In addition, you can use many network monitoring packages to monitor the utilization of WAN circuits, so that you can better size those circuits in the long run. In addition, monitoring your Terminal Servers can give you advance notice of any problems with a particular server.
