Top-Ten Installation Planning Tips
This chapter discussed many of the decisions you need to make when installing Terminal Server. Now it's time to summarize those decisions in a top ten list:
Per 500MHz processor, 10 to 65 users; 150MB minimum plus 10 to 30MB memory per user. These are good rough guidelines to start with, but they do not supplant proper performance testing. In addition, add another 64MB to your calculations if you intend to run Citrix MetaFrame XP.
Use only hardware that is on the HCL. It is important to verify that your hardware is on the HCL. The list is also a good starting point for collecting the drivers you need for installation.
