Citrix Licensing

Citrix licensing for MetaFrame and all of its predecessors has always been based on a concurrent user-licensing scheme. This means that when you are estimating the costs of a Terminal Server solution that includes Citrix MetaFrame, you need to determine what the maximum number of concurrent users will be. The “Server Sizing” section in Chapter 8, “Installing Windows 2000 Terminal Server and Citrix MetaFrame,” discusses some simple ways to come up with a rough number of concurrent users for your situation.
