Understanding MetaFrame

MetaFrame is an add-on product from Citrix that you install on your existing Terminal Server. Citrix makes two versions of MetaFrame for the Windows Server platforms: MetaFrame 1.8 and MetaFrame XP. As discussed in Chapter 8, “Installing Windows 2000 Terminal Server and Citrix MetaFrame,” the installation process is very simple. You install it from the server console using the MetaFrame CD, which normally takes less than 20 minutes.
